Assists in the analysis of financial data and extracts and defines relevant information; interprets data for the purpose of determining past financial performance and/or to project a financial probability. • Reviews costs and performs cost benefit analysis related to project or company. • Takes briefs from Divisional Managers and prepares feasibility studies for projects as required. • Assists in the preparation of the divisional operational annual budgets. Monitors and controls expenses and provides reports on an ongoing basis. Ensures budgetary compliance. • Performs statistical, cost, and financial analysis of data reports available in the various financial systems. • Develops financial reports for forecasting, trending and result analysis. • Records, classifies, and summarizes financial transactions and events in accordance with GAAP. • Interprets financial transactions and events for users who must make business decisions. • Applies a working knowledge of applicable regulation; verifies documents for completeness and compliance with the group policies & procedures. • Uses various software applications, such as spreadsheet, relational data bases, statistical packages and graphics packages to assemble and format data and reports. • Compiles analyses and prepares financial information reports, including budgetary forecasting. • Analyzing variances to forecast and previous period results for each company in the group. Maintain and update the KPI system

Graduate Degree in Accounting/Finance. A postgraduate qualification, such as CPA or CA preferred. • 5-6 years experience as a finance professional that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. • Knowledge of the various subjects of finance and accounting, such as costing, budgeting, trend analysis, etc. • Knowledge of banking, auditing and local financial regulations, and company financial policies and procedures. • Knowledge of a range of automated financial systems and applications software. • Knowledge of the principles, processes, and standards for financial analysis and reporting. • Knowledge of computerized information systems used in financial and/or accounting applications. • Knowledge of cost analysis techniques. • Knowledge of financial accounting, budgeting, control, and reporting principles, methods, techniques, and standards. • Knowledge of business practices and procedures. • Good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. • Ability to compile, analyze, interpret, and present annual financial reports, statements, and/or projections. • Ability to provide technical guidance to department managers in the area of expertise. • Skill in the use of computers, especially Microsoft Excel • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and/or projections
